![]() ![]() And said you have signed with Microsoft 365 so you get all the help you need. I had it working fine on Windows 11 for a month then when I wanted to add a couple of new CDs and it loaded to my other 2 ipod's just fine but like you my classic Apple won't help I called Microsoft a month or so ago after I got my new PC and the guy was great I had a couple of other things I needed help with and he walked me through on getting everything going most above my head. Same issue for me new cables reboot till I am blue in the face. ![]() If it is connecting in some way then i think trying different menus/reboots it would hopefully eventually connect.īut if that doesnt work then you may need to go down the route of trying another maching or virtual machines (eg a VM running XP?) to see if its your machine, windows 11, the ipod, the cable. But this sort of thing can be pretty tricky to narrow down (not connecting) particularly with something like the ipod, proprietary from apple and now no longer manufactured. If its not giving any indication at all that its connected then in all likely hood its the cable/usb connector. It wasnt showing up as a device/not showing as connected.Rebooting ipod, going into the disk mode screen, the test menus, opening it and checking the seat on my sd card hard drive adapter, multiple pc reboots and eventually it showed up (with the error).ĭoes it register that anything is connecting? Like windows give the usb noise, the screen comes on, it starts charging or it immediately goes to the ipod "safe to disconnect" screen when you plug in the wire? I did have some issues when I connected my Ipod to my PC a couple of weeks ago after not having done it for a couple of years. I can only suggest going through the Ipod test menus and the select/play reboot while its connected to your pc? ![]()
